In this privacy statement, we explain how the antenni project ("Controller") processes the personal data of subscribers and participants ("Data Subject") and how the processing of personal data can be influenced. Personal data refers to information from which a person can be directly or indirectly identified. the antenna project complies with applicable data protection legislation in its operations. The Controller complies with all applicable data protection legislation in their operations.

Personal Data that is Collected

The Controller processes personal data only to the extent necessary for the purposes described in this privacy statement. The personal data collected and the scope of their processing vary depending on the relationship between the Controller and the Data Subject, the permissions granted and the privacy settings of the browser used by the Data Subject.

 

The collected data includes:

  • E-mail address

  • Telephone number

  • Organisational information

  • Other information required for project to organise events and services

  • When signing up for events and services organised by the project

Use of Third Parties

Third parties do not have an independent right to use the information they receive from the Controller for a wider use than the mandate. The Controller ensures that all possible third parties comply with data protection legislation. 

 

To send newsletters and announcements, the Controller uses Wix and Google services, where the Controller collects subscribers' e-mail addresses.

 

Purposes of Use of Personal Data and Legal Basis for Processing

The Controller uses the collected personal data for various subscriber and participant relationships and the measures necessary to manage them. The collected information can also be used for subscriber and participant communication and maintaining these relationships. The processing of personal data is based on an agreement between the Data Subject and the Controller when submitting the data so that the Controller can offer various events and services and maintain its subscriber and participant relationships.

 

​The Controller can use the collected personal data for marketing and advertising if the Data Subject has given their permission. Personal data will not be processed for commercial purposes.

 

The Controller can use the collected personal data to develop events and services and to improve the event and service offering. Data processing is then based on the Controller's legitimate interest in using the collected data for the benefit of the Data Subject.

 

Sharing and Disclosure of Personal Data

The Controller may use other third-party services to process personal data. In such cases, the Controller ensures the legal processing of personal data through contractual arrangements and written instructions given to the third party.

 

​Furthermore, the Controller may disclose personal data to third parties if the applicable legislation obliges so or if it is necessary to implement the rights or security of the Controller or the Data Subject.

 

Transferring Personal Data Outside the EU/EEA Area

Personal data may be transferred outside the EU, as data is stored and processed almost exclusively in electronic form and some of the service providers that the Controller uses for data storage and processing may be located in countries outside the EU. The Controller always ensures that the transfer of personal data outside the EU takes place using adequate protection measures required by data protection legislation. The primary options are the transfer to a country with adequate data protection approved by the EU Commission, the transfer of data to an EU-US Privacy Shield certified company (transferees located in the United States) or the use of EU model clauses.

 

Use of Cookies

In order to improve the user experience of the Controller’s online services and to monitor and facilitate use, the Controller uses cookies. Cookies enable short textual information to be stored in the user's browser for later use.

 

Retention of Personal Data

The Controller keeps personal data for as long as it is necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. However, existing accounting or other mandatory legislation may oblige you to keep data longer than this. In such situations, the retention periods specified by legislation are observed.

 

​Data collected from the use of online services is stored for about 12 months in a form that allows individual users to be identified.

 

The Data Subject's Rights and Opportunities for Exerting Influence

The Data Subject has the right to access their personal data and the right to rectify and inspect their personal data. In addition, the Data Subject has the right to request the deletion of personal data concerning them to the extent that it is possible within the framework of other legislation. The Data Subject also has the right to transfer their personal data to another Controller.

Information Security

The Controller takes care of the secure processing of personal data with appropriate physical and technical data security measures to protect data from loss, destruction, misuse and unauthorised use and disclosure. The Controller strives for data-secure processing of personal data, for example by limiting access to personal data and ensuring that the project's project manager, project assistant and subcontractors use personal data following the given instructions, agreements and legislation.
