Safer Space
antenni wants to create a safe space for everyone participating in the initiative and its services. In a safe space, everyone can participate in activities as themselves and express themselves freely without fear of belittlement, harassment, discrimination or sexual, physical or verbal harassment.
We all influence the atmosphere and safety of antenni with our actions. Together, we can strive to create a space as safe as possible for everyone.
If you notice inappropriate behaviour or become its target, contact antenni’s team member or the harassment contact person at the event.
Safer Space Principles
-
Respect everyone and everyone's right to self-determination. Do not touch the other person without their consent, but ask for permission. You cannot know someone else's boundaries without asking them. You can also ask for your own space and respect for your boundaries from the other person.
-
Let's treat each other equally. antenni does not accept any kind of discrimination, harassment or inappropriate behaviour. If necessary, a person behaving in a disruptive manner will be removed from the premises.
-
Do not generalise or assume other people's experiences, backgrounds, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, socio-economic background or ability to function.
-
Do not criticize, mock or embarrass another by your actions. Abstain also from maintaining stereotypes and gossiping.
-
Give space and listen to others. Involve others in the conversation or activity. Handle sensitive topics with respect. Respect the privacy of others.
-
Be open to learning new things. Listen and face each other without prejudice.
-
Be kind to ourselves and others. Everyone makes mistakes sometimes. Let's apologize and support each other.
